women making moves, together
What started as a simple panel discussion has since evolved into a 2-day conference, community initiatives, books and other events for teens moving into adulthood, and adult women who desire to get the most out of God-lead life.
See for yourself

The plan is simple.
We Gather,
We Pour.
We Receive
We Live Out our Faith
We're trying to do things differently
Women have enough to contend with in the world. Our space and time is sacred. It doesn’t serve anyone to claim to offer and be a thing and not deliver on it. Our lives are one the line. We’ve each been given an assignment and while you could go it alone, you don’t have to. That’s where On This Journey comes in.
Our brand of events, print and digital resources and community efforts were created to bring about change and push us closer to our intended purpose. Change in how we se ourselves and change in how we approach life. Each of us is on a journey, but we don't have to journey alone.

Our annual main attraction "Excuse me while I work" started as a panel discussion with only 17 registered women in 2014. In 2019, our last panel discussion hosted over 100 women, the topic being , "Level Up, The How-To of a Successful Woman." It was an amazing and impactful time together.
The road of life has its twists , dips and turns but no matter where you are, remember that God has you in mind, and so do we. On This Journey is grateful for your prayers and we believe it is time with God’s help for us to continue on this journey together toward destiny.
Sharice Simpson,
FOUNDER, AUTHOR, BRUNCH QUEEN

A lover of all things brunch , travel , kids, new learning experiences and setting atmospheres to engage women that want to grow together. I have come a long way with pushing through to live my dreams, but I didn’t do it alone. I had women like my mom, god-sister, leaders and friends to help me navigate my own journey.
My community of women was and is essential to my growth and I started On This Journey as a way to pay-it-forward. You don’t have to hide from your destiny or shy away because things get hard. They WILL get hard, life will life if you let it. The good part is that you don’t have to go it alone. There is a commnity of women waiting to walk with you.
I can’t wait to get to know you and share more about my own journey.
Did Somebody Say Brunch?
One thing about me, I’m gonna go to brunch! I love a good brunch and I know some of you ladies do too. When I’m not supporting women through OTJ, helping children navigate their emotions as a Licensed Master Social Worker, or traveling, you can find me table side scouring a menu and taking in the sites.
