It true during the pandemic we had ‘time on our hands’. Personally, this time allowed me to spend more time with the Lord than ever before.
Regularly speaking our everyday lives are super busy and before we know it , it’s easy to neglect our time with God unintentionally.
During the pandemic , in spending time with God I’ve realized I need to make this a habit without excuse.

Then next thing we know , the world opened back up and we’re back to our regularly scheduled programs. And honestly though I pray everyday & read my word… what once was with the Lord , wasn’t anymore due to hectic schedules and tiredness. But no excuses I had to find something that worked for me to have more than this!

I tried a few different routines but nothing ‘clicked.’ Then I decided to try spending time with God intentionally on Saturday mornings. It worked !! Before my day starts & I get in a groove my first point of contact is Jesus. I don’t put a time allotment. 30’mins , 1 hr , however it goes down. I speak to God and He speaks with me intently. Honestly these times of refreshing give me something to think and build on throughout the week when I may not have as much time as I do on Saturday mornings!

And because I’m a creative , I started to think …
These Saturday mornings are like me going on a date with Jesus, lol. I’m looking forward to them and they have gotten so good it’s like when you go on a ‘good date’ you wanna share some , (not all) of the details with a good girlfriend!! Because it was just that good! Some of the things God and I talk about in these moments are just that good that I want to share! And where better to share than here… and there you have it , Satur’date’ with Jesus!
